About You
As a practicing veterinarian, you are passionate about exercising your considerate, empathetic medical skills to serve clients who care deeply about their animals. We encourage you in your particular interests as a lifetime learner, and to share in ours as Fear Free and holistic practitioners. You want time to engage with clients in thoughtful conversation and to apply your clinical skills in the service of excellent patient care. You expect a collaborative environment which treats all staff with respect. If you enjoy encouraging young people who are interested in veterinary medicine, we welcome your mentoring skills. And, of course, you have all necessary licenses in good standing to practice in Maryland.
About the Team
The staff currently consists of one veterinarian, Dr. Gouri Krishna (VA-MD 1991), an experienced practice manager, 6 technicians (2 have been with us for over 12 years), 4 receptionists and 1 amazing intern. The team is incredibly supportive of one another, and the practice feels very much like an extended family. Patience, collaboration, and genuine respect between staff members make the clinic a rewarding and enjoyable place to work.
“I love seeing the animals and my work family every day, they are more than simply co-workers. I cannot stress enough how much I love the camaraderie here.” Rhonda, Veterinary Technician.

About the practice
We pride ourselves on trying to make a relaxed workflow the norm, rather than the exception. Appointments are scheduled anywhere from 30-60 minutes or longer depending on the patient’s needs. This allows time to practice quality medicine, build strong client relationships, and attend to charts. A 2:1 technician:veterinarian ratio allows the doctor to solely focus on the patient and the client. We use a skilled mobile veterinarian to perform in-house ultrasounds and have access to multiple specialty and emergency practices in the area. Our staff is made up of supportive, hard-working people who have grown into a cohesive team. We are committed to providing a healthy work/life balance for our employees and the working hours, which include 2 three-hour days, allow us all the time to enjoy life outside the practice. With a 2-hour mid-day break there is ample opportunity to attend to phone calls and emails, while still having personal time for lunch or a walk in our lovely neighborhood.
“I love working here and seeing the animals grow up through the years, thanks to our loyal pet families.” Victoria, Veterinary Technician
Get in Touch!
We look forward to hiring an associate veterinarian with at least 2 years’ experience, who loves general, small animal practice. Expertise in routine surgical and dental procedures is preferred. Any specific additional interests you have are always open for discussion.
We welcome a chance to explore the unique skills and vision you will bring to the practice. Please email resumes to [email protected].
