For New Patients
How long is the visit?
New client visits are scheduled as hour-long appointments because we need time to review the pet’s history, listen and talk to you, get to know our new patient and perform a thorough exam and any necessary diagnostics.
How do I confirm the appointment?
We ask that you provide 2 contact phone numbers where we can reach you to confirm the appointment. Please re-confirm the appointment yourself within 24 hours of coming in by calling us at 301-587-6099.
When should I arrive and what should I bring?
We ask that you come ten minutes before your scheduled appointment to fill out the new client form. You may also download it, complete it and bring it with you. Also, please bring any paperwork from prior veterinarians or ask that it be faxed to us so that we have it before the visit. Our fax number is: 301-587-2007.
Note: Don’t be surprised if we let your dog run loose in the clinic if there are no other patients around. We want your pet to be very comfortable in the space where we sometimes do unpleasant things to them.
My pet has a skin issue. Is there anything special I need to do for my appointment?
Yes, please print out this dermatology history form. Complete it as best as possible, and bring it with you for your appointment. Or, you may fax it to us: 301-587-2007.
How can I pay?
We do not take checks on the first visit from new clients but accept all major credit cards or cash. Please do not hesitate to ask for an estimate.

Please check out what people have said about us on Yelp, the Woodside Listserv and in the Washington Consumer Checkbook. We receive most of our new clients through referral from other people, not advertising.
